Treeline Taxes
One of the benefits of living on the outskirts of Houston is that taxes are lower than the Houston average. In Treeline, homeowners enjoy the benefit of taxes at $2.995 per $100 of assessed value.
School taxes paid to Tomball ISD come out to $1.36/$100 along with the Lone Star College System of $0.1144/$100. The local water district taxes $0.81/$100.
To evaluate the estimated taxes for your next home, take the sales price you expect to pay for it and divide it by 100. Take the resulting number and multiply it by your tax rate (2.995 in Treeline) to derive your yearly taxes.
